the Team

António is Bondstone’s Partner and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, António served as CEO and Partner at Margin Key, a Portugal-based consulting firm, and as a corporate finance professional in various roles in corporate finance and in the private equity industry for over a decade, namely at Oxy Capital, Bright Partners, 3i Group, Millennium BCP and Garrigues.

António holds a Law degree from Universidade de Lisboa, a Master’s in Management from Nova SBE and a MBA from Nova SBE and Católica-Lisbon in partnership with MIT Sloan School of Management. António is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Bárbara is an Associate at Bondstone, supporting the Legal & Compliance team, by providing legal advice to the ongoing projects and future investments, and enforcing our stringent compliance and AML obligations. Prior to joining the firm, Bárbara worked for 2 years also as an Associate, providing legal support and advice in different areas such as real estate, corporate law, insolvency, banking and finance law, to a variety of corporate and individual clients. Bárbara started her career at SPS Advogados where she spent 2.5 years, dealing mainly with litigation and insolvency proceedings, related to mortgage and consumer credits.

Bárbara holds a Law degree from Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL) and a Master’s degree in Legal Practice from ULisboa’s Faculty of Law, majoring in Tax and Finance Law. Bárbara is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Bruna is Bondstone’s Executive Director of Legal & Compliance team. Prior to joining the team in 2020, served as a lawyer at Duarte, Mota & Dinis (DMD) Sociedade de Advogados, RL, focusing on real estate, urbanism, and corporate law.

Bruna holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in Civil Law from ULisboa’s Faculty of Law, and is currently attending postgraduate studies at Corporate Finance and Corporate Governance at CIDP (Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado). Bruna is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2017. Bruna is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Bruno is the Investment Director at Bondstone, responsible for deal origination and structuring. Prior to joining Bondstone, Bruno was an Associate at Savills with a consulting role in Strategic Advisory, Commercial Due Diligence and Debt Advisory, providing in-depth market insights and deal analysis to Real Estate developers and investors, and supporting stakeholders in their investment decisions. Before his tenure at Savills, Bruno was a Partner at Margin Key, a Portugal-based consulting firm, and prior to that, a Project Manager at Altice Portugal (former Portugal Telecom/TMN).

Bruno holds a MBA from Nova SBE and Católica-Lisbon in partnership with MIT Sloan School of Management and a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Técnico (IST). Bruno is also an active member of the Portuguese Chamber of Chartered Engineers (Ordem dos Engenheiros). Bruno is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Fátima is an Analyst at Bondstone, supporting the team in administrative and office activities such as organizing and managing files, scheduling meetings, and appointments, coordinating external office suppliers and service providers and managing information and correspondence, among others.

Fátima holds a Tourism Management degree from Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE) and has worked in different sectors, such as Aviation, Hospitality and more recently as Personal Assistant. Fátima is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Francisco is an Analyst supporting the Investment Team at Bondstone.

Francisco holds a Business Administration BSc from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a Master’s in Finance with a major in Corporate Finance at Nova SBE. Francisco is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Frederico is Bondstone’s Chief Operating Officer. Frederico has over twenty years of Real Estate experience in Project Management and Business Development across multiple sectors including residential, offices, retail, industrial and hospitality, with major local and international players such as Novo Banco Real Estate, Hudson Advisors, or Vilamoura World.

Frederico holds a MSc degree in Construction Management and a BSc degree with a major in Territorial Engineering from Técnico (IST). He also completed several executive education programs, including Project Management and Evaluation (from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics), General Management and Finance for Non-Finance Executives (both from Nova SBE). Frederico is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Gonçalo is a Senior Architect at Bondstone, supporting the Asset Management team to cover a multitude of critical tasks in project planning, evaluation, design coordination, and execution. Before joining the firm in 2023, Gonçalo was a Project Leader at Openbook Architecture. During his tenure, he was actively involved in numerous workplace projects, including several award acclaimed ventures such as Vda Vieira de Almeida, Deloitte, KPMG, Miniclip, Microsoft, as well as residential undertakings in Lisbon, Porto, and Cascais. Additionally, he contributed to notable hospitality projects, including the recent renovation of Hotel Ritz.

Gonçalo holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Lisbon School of Architecture. He is also an active member of the Portuguese Chamber of Architects (Ordem dos Arquitectos). Gonçalo is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Guilherme is the Director of Finance and Administration at Bondstone. Guilherme spearheads the firm’s debt underwriting and investment and management control efforts, and supervises the accounting, reporting and administrative departments. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Guilherme served as Management Controller at Webhelp, and before that, worked for more than 5 years as an Auditor at both Deloitte and Baker Tilly.

Guilherme holds an Economics degree from ISCTE and is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Íris is a Marketing Analyst at Bondstone, supporting the Marketing team to cover a multitude of critical tasks implementing our marketing and communication plan. Prior to joining Bondstone’s team, Íris served as Communication & Partnerships Manager at AON, and before that she worked at AMT Consulting as SAP HCM Junior Consultant. Íris started her professional career as a Trainee at Deloitte, in the Human Resources and Internal Communication department.

Íris holds a Human Resources Management degree from ISCTE Business School. During her degree, Íris studied as an exchange student at Università Degli Studi di Verona. She has a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences at FCH-Católica. Íris is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Joana is Bondstone Properties’ Sales Director. Joana leads the in-house sales department, and is in charge of establishing effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth and developing strong client relationships. Joana has close to ten years of professional experience in sales, marketing, consulting, management, entrepreneurship, real estate, retail, and hospitality.

Joana holds a Law Degree from Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL) and an Executive Education Degree in Real Estate Law from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics. Joana is fluent in Portuguese, English, French.

João is a Managing Associate at Bondstone, focusing on the operational management of the firm’s real estate projects. Prior to joining the firm in June 2022, João worked as a Site Manager at Teixeira Duarte, where he was involved in several high-end residential developments. Before that, João worked as an Assistant Site Manager at Martifer.

João holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Técnico (IST) having also studied at the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden). João is fluent in Portuguese and English.

João is a Director at Bondstone, focusing on the operational management of the firm’s real estate projects. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, João worked as a Site Manager at Teixeira Duarte, where he was involved in several residential projects including two large-scale luxury complexes in Cascais. Before that, João served as a Project Manager at Jular, a renowned Portuguese timber structures company, being responsible for the design and assembling of several projects in Portugal and Angola.

João holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Técnico (IST) with a major in Construction Management, and is an effective member of the Portuguese Chamber of Chartered Engineers (Ordem dos Engenheiros). João is fluent in Portuguese and English.

João is an Executive Director at Bondstone, overseeing a multitude of critical tasks and spearheading the pivotal Morgadinho enterprise, our landmark development project in Algarve.

João has almost 15 years of experience in real estate project management, having been involved in many asset classes such as residential, commercial, office and logistics. For the past four years, João has been working at Rockbuilding, mostly allocated to one of the largest mixed-use real estate projects in Lisbon, the former Popular Fair lands in Entrecampos acquired by Fidelidade in 2018. Before that, João worked at Teixeira Duarte Imobiliária as Project Director for sizable development projects such as Vila Rio, a 606-housing unit project in Póvoa de Santa Iria. Previously, he has been Project Manager at Accure for about two years. João started his career at HCI Construções where he spent more than seven years, first as an engineering intern and then as a site and construction Director.

João holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Técnico (IST). João is fluent in Portuguese and English.

João is a Sales Coordinator for the Asset Management team at Bondstone, and is currently based in Porto leading the sales efforts at Greenstone.

João is finishing up his Art, Conservation and Restoration BSc at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. João is fluent in Portuguese and English.

João is an Associate at Bondstone, focusing on a variety of critical project management tasks, providing comprehensive oversight and ensuring the successful execution of every aspect of Arcaya, our ambitious 68-hectare mega development project in Vilamoura, Algarve. Prior to joining the firm, João worked as an Assistant Site Director at Magna General Contractors as, where he led pharmaceutical and logistics projects. Before that, he spent four years as an Associate Structural Engineer at Quadrante Group, where he was involved in national and international projects across various asset classes, including residential, offices, commercial spaces, museums, and stadiums.

João holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). João is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Leonor is Bondstone’s Executive Director of Marketing, spearheading the strategic development and execution of all marketing, communications, brand management, and public relations activities for the firm and its portfolio projects. Leonor has more than 20 years of experience leading communication, branding, and identity development projects at creative agencies such as STRAT, Brandia and Blug, where she served as Partner and Managing Director for 10 years. Throughout her career, Leonor has been directly involved in marketing assignments at prominent real estate companies such as Vanguard Properties, Avenue, ACA, Lúcios, Predibisa, or Rockbuilding. She has also been engaged in a wide array of industries and markets such as hospitality, services, or consumer goods.

Leonor holds a MSc in Economics from the School of Economics and Management at the University of Porto, and is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Margarida is a Senior Analyst for the Investment team at Bondstone. Prior to joining the team, Margarida had a short-term experience in Consulting while studying.

Margarida holds a degree from the International Undergraduate Program in Business Administration of Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a Master’s in Finance with a major in Corporate Finance at Nova SBE. Margarida was an incoming MBA exchange student at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler (USA), while doing her Master’s in Finance in Portugal. Margarida is fluent in Portuguese, English, and French.

Mariana is an Analyst supporting the Investment Team at Bondstone. Prior to joining the team, Mariana worked as a Summer Business Analyst at Fintech Solutions, the advisory arm of Portugal Fintech.

Mariana holds a Business Administration degree from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and a Master’s in Finance with a major in Corporate Finance at Nova SBE. Mariana is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Marta is a Senior Sales Analyst at Bondstone, supporting the Sales team to coordinate and implement the sales strategy for forthcoming and ongoing projects, as well as managing relations with external partners and clients. Marta has almost 20 years of experience in roles focused on building and nurturing relationships. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Marta worked at Sotheby’s as a Private Broker overseeing the brokerage of luxury real estate with a focus on market research, contracts, and direct interaction with developers and contractors, for the past 16 months. Before that, she worked at Century 21 and Côte d’Azur as real estate coordinator and broker. Previously, Marta was the business owner and Pedagogical Director of Academia ao Quadrado, a children’s academy.

Marta holds a degree in Interior Design and Portuguese Decorative Arts from ESAD and a MBA in Property Valuation from ESAI. Marta is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Matilde is an Analyst supporting the Investment Team at Bondstone. Prior to joining the team, Matilde worked as a Summer Finance Analyst at Ségur Estates.

Matilde holds a Business Administration BSc from Católica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and is finishing up her MSc in Real Estate at ESCP Business School. Matilde is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Nélia is a Managing Associate at Bondstone, spearheading the firm’s accounting, tax, payroll, and treasury functions. Nélia is an experienced accountant having worked for VLGA and Lusoconta, two multi-client accounting firms, over the span of the last 15 years.

Nélia holds an accounting and auditing degree from Coimbra Business School and has been a member of the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association (OCC) since 2010. Nélia is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Paulo Loureiro is the founder and CEO of Bondstone. Paulo is an experienced corporate executive and investment professional with relevant experience in the financial, real estate and energy sectors in Europe, USA and LATAM. Since 2016, Paulo has structured real estate projects in Portugal representing an investment of more than €150 million.

Prior to founding Bondstone, Paulo was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley in New York. He started his career with Schlumberger the world’s leading oilfield services provider – spending six years in Argentina and Brazil holding various operational and management positions.

Paulo received his MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and holds a Master of Science degree majoring in Maths and Physics. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese and lives in Lisbon, Portugal.

Pedro is an Analyst supporting the Investment Team at Bondstone. Prior to joining the team, Pedro served as an analyst at Kroll and Optimal Investments, working across various sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Airlines, Maritime Transportation, and Portuguese SMEs.

Pedro holds a Business Administration degree from Católica Lisbon Business School and Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance from Esade Business School. Pedro is fluent Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Tomás is a Managing Associate at Bondstone, supporting the Asset Management team in covering a multitude of critical tasks in project management, from planning to development and implementation. Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Tomás worked as a Project Manager at Rockbuilding for 2 years, allocated to one of the largest real estate projects in Lisbon, the former Popular Fair lands in Entrecampos acquired by Fidelidade. Before that, Tomás worked for 5 years as an Associate at Norfin, where he was responsible for the asset management of real estate funds. During his tenure at Norfin, Tomás was part of the Prata Riverside Village project management team and collaborated in large real estate portfolios valuation.

Tomás holds a MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Técnico (IST) and a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management and Valuation from ISEG. Tomás is fluent in Portuguese and English.
